When I was a young child I read a lot, books I borrowed from the liltte local library. One series of books I loved were the fairy story collections edited by Andrew Lang. There was the Crimson Fairy Book, the Violet Fairy Book, Grey, Orange, Red, Olive, Green, Pink, Blue and Yellow Fairy Books. They were collections of fairy stories from all over the world collected together in the appropriately coloured coverings. I loved them all. Some of my favourites were How to tell a True Princess (The Princess and the Pea!) The Six Swans, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, The Snow-daughter and the Fire-son... Imagine my delight when I was able to download them to my kindle to share with my daughters and nieces. I also loved Enid Blyton's The Wishing Chair.
